Detangle hair from tips to roots before washing.
Carefully wash with lukewarm water and mild shampoo. Do not rub or twist the hair. Follow with a deep reconstructive conditioner.
Squeeze out excess water and pat dry with towel.
Leave hair to dry naturally.
Do not apply heat to wet hair.
